<p>This module builds on your knowledge of speech, language and communication. You’ll build on your core knowledge and skills of phonetics, linguistics and psycholinguistics. You’ll further develop your phonetic and orthographic transcription of both speech and language to underpin your analysis of clients with a range of speech and language developmental or acquired differences. Lectures and seminar sessions aim to enhance your problem-solving and clinical-reasoning ability for assessment and therapy with children and adults.  </p>

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
