This module prepares you to transition into professional practice and to develop as a well-rounded Speech and Language Therapist, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills with minimal support. Through placements, practical sessions, tutorials, and lectures, you&#39;ll effectively apply your communication and interaction skills in complex and interrelated clinical contexts, being provided with only occasional guidance. You&#39;ll independently integrate most feedback to refine your practice, critically evaluating your own and others’ performance to ensure high-quality outcomes. Reflective practice remains central, enabling you to address challenges confidently while maintaining a holistic and client-centred approach. The module supports you in leading collaborative and multidisciplinary work, using advanced problem-solving strategies to assess and treat service-users. The aim is that by the end of this module, you&#39;ll be fully prepared to act autonomously and transition seamlessly into employment as a Speech and Language Therapist.
