Assessment 1: Written practice exercise

250 word reflective account on a practice based learning experience using a known reflective model. This initial reflective piece from the student / learners first week on placement allows tutors to guide reflective style development prior to the summative assignment.

Assessment 1: Portfolio

Practice-based portfolio to include:
Signed clinical patient examination log which indicates that the student has passed the practice-based experience.Signed record of 210 placement hours.3 competency assessments indicating acceptable standards of professionalism at this level. Signed completion of mandatory training record for the clinical placement.
All elements of the practice-based portfolio must be included to pass the portfolio. 

Portfolio

Assessment 2: Written Assignment

Drawing from reflection made during initial placement block students and learners will write an extended reflection piece. This will both examine how prepared they were for the clinical experience, but also demonstrate their understanding of the reflective method. [The portfolio is pass/fail for this module with this written assignment for grade only].

Reflection on Clinical Practice

Through this Practice-Based Learning module you’ll have the opportunity to work in a clinical setting. You&#39;ll complete and be assessed on placement hours demonstrating evidence-based radiographic techniques, anatomical knowledge and value-based care. This will involve working as part of the multidisciplinary team under the direct supervision of qualified clinicians.
