Students will be asked to discuss the focus for the assessment with the tutor; verbal feedback will be given at this stage. Students will then submit a 1000 equivalent word draft or detailed plan for written feedback.

Students will develop a project that suits their skills and understanding to meet the module’s learning outcomes. Students will be presented with a list of project options. The project will be discussed and agreed with the module tutor during the formative assessment phase.

Written Assignment

<p>Children with SEMH difficulties make up around 20% of all SEND pupils and undiagnosed and unsupported SEMH difficulties have are critical consequences for learning, job opportunities, socialisation and life expectancy. In this module, you will learn about the current developments on understanding SEMH difficulties, different perspectives to conceptualise and model SEMH difficulties. You will explore a variety of topics such as adverse childhood experiences, ADHD, anxiety, depression and behaviour disorder. You will analyse educational policy and practice that supports the inclusion of pupils with SEMH difficulties pupils in a range of educational settings.</p>
