Assessment 1: Presentation

A presentation which outlines and evaluates a health promotion or intervention aimed at children or young people. It should critically evaluate how legislation, policy and research supports the chosen health promotion or intervention and how it may impact on the health well being of a selected group of children or young people. It will be presented to peers and the discussion will be assessed. It should take into account how effectively the promotion or intervention meets the needs of diverse groups

<p>Through this module you will explore different aspects of the health and well being of children and young people and become equipped to evaluate the wider public health agenda, national trends and supporting legislation.  You will evaluate how legislation, policy, research and health promotion models support the chosen promotion and how this may impact on children or young people’s lives.</p>
