Learners will be allocated a supervisor who will have 10 hours dedicated to formative assessment throughout the module. Formative assessment may take the form of reading partial drafts of work, discussing evidence collection, offering advice about project matters or other activities the learner may need support with.

Assessment 1: Written Assignment

Learners will produce a 1500-word Individual Written Assessment (Learning Application Report), which demonstrates their commitment to managing peopleLearners will discuss work-based evidence in their Learning Application Report which relates to the learning outcomes for this module. Evidence sources may include; video/audio extracts, written statements, project plans, observation reports, presentations, feedback from manager, supervisors or peers, papers or reports written by the apprentice, performance reviews.Learners must reflect on the application of the module content to the work-based evidence

Written assessment

<p>This module will allow you to complete the work-based project which is a mandatory aspect of your apprenticeship. The project must be a significant and defined piece of work that has real business application and benefit. It must be completed on-programme and is a mandatory requirement for Gateway. The project will be comparable in terms of content and complexity for all learners but the context within which the knowledge and skills must be demonstrated will vary. The project must be signed off by your employer prior to commencement and must be completed before the end of the module.</p>
