Activities providing opportunities for formative assessment will generally be integrated into the teaching and learning process and apply to all components of summative assessment.  The nature of the formative assessment tasks used will be at the discretion of the tutor, to include for example, workshop exercises, quizzes, group discussions.

Learners will produce a 1500-word Individual Written Assessment (Learning Application Report), which demonstrates their commitment to managing peopleLearners will discuss work-based evidence in their Learning Application Report which relates to the learning outcomes for this module. Evidence sources may include; video/audio extracts, written statements, project plans, observation reports, presentations, feedback from manager, supervisors or peers, papers or reports written by the apprentice, performance reviews.Learners must reflect on the application of the module content to the work-based evidence

<p>This module will help you understand the business environment and what it takes to successfully plan and execute operations. You will learn about strategic planning and how to create plans in line with organisational objectives but also how to monitor plans against the strategic objectives. You will learn how to set up and manage projects whilst taking account of resources, risks, and financial considerations. You will learn to work with data and make decisions based on analysis of this data to solve problems or suggest future improvements.</p>
