Formative assessment will be by means of structured group discussions and individual tutorials with appropriate feedback from the tutor.  The students will also initially use case studies to develop their knowledge and abilities. The exact nature of the case studies and tests will be at the discretion of the module tutor.

Success depends on a combination of strategic vision, operational efficiency, process orientation and the willingness of leaders to make difficult decisions to implement and manage change.  In this module students will develop an understanding of, and the ability to apply, analyse and evaluate strategic models.  They will also then critically consider how the key principles of operations and management help bring strategy to fruition.
