This module will give students a basic grounding in financial and management accounting which will be provide a basis for further personal development in work and further study, whatever career students decide to enter into. The module will progress from the understanding of the basic financial statements through to interpretation and analysis of these. The provision of internal information to aid management will also be covered, together with some of the fundamental techniques that are used for costing, pricing and appraising decisions
