Formative assessment will be case studies and service user experience of podiatric surgery. This will be supported via a range of online resources which can be accessed via the virtual learning environment. Students can monitor their progress by formative assessment in the form of feedback from supervisors, self-assessed and tutor-assessed tests, reflective logs.

Case study demonstrating on the principles of consent for surgery.

Written Assignment

This module will develop your existing knowledge and skills in communication related to the challenges of podiatric surgery. You will broaden your knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of effective communication in practice. You will explore the service user’s views and needs about podiatric surgery and the impact your practice has on them.
