This module provides you with the opportunity to carry out a small piece of independent research into a management and leadership issue of your preference. You&#39;ll research your topic in depth, allowing you to develop your own research interests in relation to an identified public health challenge. 
This module provides an opportunity for students to develop the capability to develop, lead and manage change strategies that will influence and mitigate current socio-economic, political, societal, and global challenges. A response skill set is needed to provide a response to the demands of today’s dynamic global society and develop solutions to these challenges, UNDP (2023). For example, within the Covid 19 world, 32 communities are required to be responsive and to strive towards developing sustainable solutions in response to the Sustainable Development Goals.  As emphasised by the United Nations in the Spring of 2023 in the landmark resolution calling for stronger innovation and enterprise strong leadership and management is demanded to implement a response to the challenges presented in the contemporary global community. Whilst leadership and management within the context of public health is complex and dynamic; it is characterised by a multi-faceted change process through which leaders of change offer economic inclusion and social engagement to different global community and social groups through creative, solution-orientated strategies.
