This course will introduce you to the theory and practice of US government and politics in its historical and social context. It will draw on insights from political science and political sociology to help you understand contemporary transformations in US politics and society.

The module will be taught by a combination of lectures and seminars. Students’ learning will be supported by Unilearn, which will contain information about the module and staff involved in teaching it, as well as relevant content in course documents and websites.

On successful completion of this module students will
