This module aims to develop your awareness and understanding of the pedagogical social, and cultural foundations of teaching practice. It will assist you in your understanding of teaching and learning theories and models in physical education (PE) and school sport. This will help you develop a critical appreciation of the value of school sport and PE to lifelong learning, and participation. You&#39;ll have the opportunity to lead practical sessions for your peers and within various school environments, as well as further your knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE at all key stages. The module focus is on the child and young person being at the heart of  learning, regardless of the context in which they learn.
