You’ll have the opportunity to develop your clinical competence and the necessary qualities required in paramedic practice. This will include the skills you require to care for, monitor, manage and support service users and their families during clinical practice. This practical module builds on patient assessment and introduces clinical decision making skills allowing you to refine your practice. By achieving this, you’ll emulate the professional attributes and conduct as expected of the HCPC. Within the practice element you will undertake a defined range of competencies under direct or indirect supervision.

Students will be required to pass all elements of the assessment to gain credit of the module as required by the HCPC standards of proficiency (2014).
