<p>This module provides the opportunity to build on your knowledge of research from Year 1 and prepares you to undertake an area of research in Year 3. You’ll explore data collection and analysis in relation to methods which are currently used in research and evaluation of practice.</p>

Plan and develop a proposal for a research project.

Analyse the suitability and appropriateness of quantitative, qualitative, literature reviews and audit research methods.


Identify ethical issues arising out of research involving human participants and be able to apply them appropriately.


Identify and apply appropriate methods of data collection and analysis.

Plan and contribute to a group presentation of the research proposal.
