A combination of lectures and tutorials will be used. You will first be introduced to the concepts through formal lectures. Tutorials to reinforce the learning will follow this. Feedback will be given after the formative assessment and this will directly help you to prepare for the summative assessment.

On successful completion of this module students will

Demonstrate a critical understanding of a range of research approaches, designs and methods.

Identify and critically comment on issues of validity, reliability credibility, trustworthiness, and ethics arising from research.
3.
Select and investigate a topic of contemporary research interest, using peer reviewed journal articles, facilitating the analysis, synthesis and presentation of results in an agreed format.
