Learning Strategy

Students will attend lectures and seminars as agreed in the learning contract and will take guidance from these staff members for their independent guided study. Students’ learning will be supported by the VLE, which will contain information about the module and staff involved in teaching it, as well as relevant … For more content click the Read More button below. Learning methods will vary according to portfolio of assignments chosen and will include elements of the taught provision offered to students on the same degree in their intermediate year at the University of Huddersfield.  An individualised programme combining taught support and guided independent study will be negotiated in a learning contract. This will add up to 300 hours to fit the requirements of a 30 credit module

Outline Syllabus

The specific syllabus will vary according to the discipline or disciplines of the course on which the student is enrolled and the modules identified in the learning contract. An example of a learning contract, based on an exchange undertaken by a politics student is provided here as an appendix.
