On successful completion of this module students will

Recognise key concepts within intelligence-led and problem-oriented policing.

Discuss the contribution of evidence-based policing and situate this within a ‘what works’ agenda.

Critically assess the suitability and likely effectiveness of policing and investigative practices with reference to theory and research evidence.

Produce an analytical report.

Present information verbally and in writing to a practitioner audience.
