Formative assessment opportunities will be set by the module leader and detailed on the VLE. This formative will involve preparation for the practical skills assessments in this module in the form of mock case scenarios.

Assessment 1: Written practice exercise

Formative assessment opportunities will be set by the module leader and detailed on the VLE. This formative will prepare you for the summative oral assessment and involve a short (under 300 words) summary of a key guideline that you have chosen to use for the summative assessment.

Assessment 1: Oral Assessment

An oral assessment there you will need to verbally/orally discuss, debate and appraise a topic and supporting evidence with your examiner. Specific information around the topic will be available on the VLE and provided by the module tutor.

Assessment 2: Practical Skills Assessment

Practical skills assessment, using an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) format.

In this module you will incorporate the principles of enhancing physiotherapy practice taking an integrated and person-centred approach, across a variety of settings and client groups.

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for registration with the HCPC.
