Assessment 1: Practical Skills Assessment

This module has a large focus on the transition of a student physiotherapist to a chartered physiotherapist. There will be a focus on critical reflective practice and exploration of different avenues of career development upon graduation. This will include current models of leadership within the NHS and discussion of the expanding scope of physiotherapy.
You will draw on your own experiences to date to create bespoke case scenarios to prepare you for the <a href="https://haso.skillsforhealth.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/2019.08.14-L6-Physiotherapist-ST0519-Assessment-plan-V2.pdf" rel="nofollow">End Point Assessments (EPA)</a> which are summatively assessed in this module. In turn, this will enable you to develop your professional portfolio and CV in preparation for employment opportunities. This will be supported further by completion of a mock job interview to allow you to reflect on your interview technique.

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
