This module will be assessed both formatively and summatively, formative assessment will be set by the module leader and detailed in writing in the module handbook and on Unilearn.

Formative Assessment

Assessment 1: Presentation

A 20 minute presentation demonstrating ability to apply occupational therapy intervention to a selected case study.

Oral Presentation

<p>You will have the opportunity to further develop your understanding of the theories, principles and concepts, which influence current practice within Occupational Therapy. Using case studies, you will be required to adopt an enquiry based, critical evaluation of the theoretical and practical approaches to working with individuals, groups, communities and populations. You will demonstrate your ability to apply occupational therapy intervention to a selected case study through your coursework involving a presentation.</p>

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for registration with the Health Professions Council and eligibility to apply for membership of the College of Occupational Therapy.
