<p>You’ll critically explore the practice of identifying vulnerability and risk in relation to crime and crime prevention, including key strategic policies and frameworks as well as theoretical models and approaches which underpin this work. This will include studying about the conduct of criminal investigations to protect the public in a key area such as counter-terrorism.</p>

Examine the risk factors associated with vulnerability, victimisation and re-victimisation.

Critically apply criminological theory and research to policing practice, development and strategy for criminal investigations.

Evaluate multi-agency and partnership working in crimes (such as, for example, terrorism and extremism).

Communicate information and arguments effectively and clearly to professional and academic audiences.

Apply problem-solving and evidence-based policing approaches to policing challenges.
