A reflective analysis (2500 word equivalent) of personal development and impact as a professional police constable (community policing) or as an investigator (Detectives), in the context of the professionalisation of policing. A portfolio of evidence with commentaries documenting professional development and strategies to aid this in the context of policing practice.

This will involve you exploring strategies to develop positive organisational culture as well as your personal practice and professional development as a critically reflective and ethical police leader.</p>

Critically discuss the strategic drivers for professionalising policing and relevant national policing strategies.



Apply critical reflection to discretion and risk in decision-making and develop lessons for future practice.

Evaluate ethical and professional approaches when dealing with individuals who are vulnerable, have suffered harm and/or are at risk of harm, including the importance of respecting difference and inclusion.
