Write a manual for a hypothetical new incumbent in an educational post that highlights recommended styles and approaches in a critical way. Real life examples and case studies should be used to support points made.

This module looks at what makes educational leadership unique within the wider world of leadership. You’ll start by exploring the basic concept, then move on to key leadership theories that are especially relevant in education—going into more depth than most other modules.
You’ll also examine elements such as professionalism and what it means to be a professional in an educational setting. From there, you’ll look at different leadership roles in schools and other learning environments, before finishing with a focus on instructional leadership—an approach that brings together many of the key ideas covered throughout the module.
