Assessment 1: Written Assignment

Consisting of written work which covers linear programming and its applications. It comprises formulation of real-life problems as LP model, use of the simplex method to determine the optimal solution, sensitivity analysis of the model, formulation and solution of basic transportation models.

<p>This module introduces you to operational research, which includes techniques for optimization and decision making. You will learn linear programming and its applications and use tools for planning and decision making. You will also use graphs to represent various real world objects and study various algorithms which can be applied to graphs.</p>
