Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students will

Demonstrate a conceptual and critical understanding of planning and control theories, and modelling techniques used to support decision making in the field of supply chain planning and control.

Critically apply and evaluate supply chain planning and control tools to real life supply chain operational challenges

Critically evaluate a range of perspectives on the use of supply chain planning and control techniques

Demonstrate the ability to make sound judgements and communicate conclusions obtained from solving identified problems in a supply chain system clearly to specialist and non- specialist audiences

Obtain, manipulate, store and analyse data ready for application to operations and supply chain problems, design and build models appropriate to the evaluation of the supply chain at operational and strategic levels and have an appreciation of some of the relevant computer software
