Synopsis
The module focuses on the significance of engagement in communication leadership. The module uses the consultancy process framework to explore explores the concepts of ‘trusted advisor’, negotiation, networks and internal and external alliance building.

Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students will

Demonstrate a critical and ethical understanding of consultancy work.

Apply theoretical understanding of consultancy and advisory techniques in a practically oriented context.

Critically evaluate the requirements of particular stakeholders and propose ways forward and/or solutions to complex problems.
