<p>This module is designed to introduce you to social media marketing, exploring the use of different platforms to capture your audience online and influence customers. Social media channels and implementation will be considered in relation to digital marketing communication objectives, within the wider context of the marketing plan, and working within the setting of the promotional environment. Throughout the module you’ll have the opportunity to use a variety of tools and platforms to produce professional, creative and coherent content for social media. </p>

Be able to create and manage the development of a high quality integrated social media marketing communications campaign appropriate for the organisations business and marketing objectives.

Understand how an organisation can implement social media marketing communications that provide value to customers, using appropriate techniques of analysis to measure performance.

Appreciate how to plan a social media campaign, understanding how a social media marketing plan will complement the digital marketing plan and objectives.

Be able to interact effectively within a team and/or learning group, giving and receiving information and ideas to create innovative responses where appropriate.

Demonstrate detailed knowledge of key digital marketing theories and an awareness of a variety of ideas, contexts and frameworks to explain how social media communications influence customers.
