Activities providing opportunities for formative assessment will generally be integrated into the teaching and learning process and apply to all components of summative assessment.  The nature of the formative assessment tasks used will be at the discretion of the tutor, to include for example, workshop exercises, quizzes, group discussions.

As a generalist module, People Resourcing covers a wide range of people management issues from pre-employment (corporate and HR strategic planning, recruitment and selection), initial and continuing employment (socialisation, performance management), to release from employment (redundancy, retirement, exit interviews).
A measure to be adopted throughout the module is that of the capability of the HRM techniques and practices studied to add value to organisations of all types (e.g. large corporations, SMEs, not-for-profit organisations etc).

Appreciate the processes and procedures that can be implemented to support the effectiveness of the People Resourcing Function.

Examine HR Resourcing interventions and critically assess how such measures contribute to optimising employee performance.

Undertake research and demonstrate effective oral communication of a topic from within the syllabus.

Use examples to critically evaluate the effectiveness of a range of key concepts relating to People Resourcing

Devise solutions and apply key concepts to People Resourcing issues arising from various workplace scenarios.

Demonstrate an appreciation of the various aspects of People Resourcing and examine the contribution that such activities can make to an organisation.
