Activities providing opportunities for formative assessment will generally be integrated into the teaching and learning process and apply to all components of summative assessment.  The nature of the formative assessment tasks used will be at the discretion of the tutor, to include for example, workshop exercises, quizzes, group discussions.

 The individual portfolio will potentially include :-
 
Examples of creatives used in a campaign or event, such as mood or storyboard, mock-up of floor plans or advertising collateral, event invitations, advertising billboards and flyers, use of colour, font, placement of comms (on and offline), tone of voice, (words used) timings, ideas, understanding and awareness of competitors, the event and marketing USP.An understanding of target audience, on and offline communications, budgeting and ROI skills via inclusion in the portfolio of a brief timeline, basic budget plan and Gantt chart.Explanations as to why these tactics are being used and how this links in to the overall marketing and advertising campaign brief and objectives.

<p>The focus of this module is Creative Marketing Communications and the contribution made to the overall marketing communications of an organisation. You&#39;ll consider how and why marketing communications campaigns are planned and implemented, both in online and offline contexts, using appropriate theoretical constructs to guide your development. The module aims to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to develop creative marketing communications content and plans that support the marketing mix, and in line with the organisation’s strategic direction.</p>
