Poster presentation on the project. This will typically include: preparing research for verbal/visual communication; a presentation of 10 minutes; a Q&amp;A.

A written output of 12,600 words) which can include traditional historical research, a contextualised report on a public history project, an oral history project or other kinds of writing and research using historical research methods. (Forms other than writing, such as a podcast series or short film, are negotiable with the module leader and must include a critical commentary).

Project work

This module supports students in the development of a significant piece of independent historical research, culminating in a written output. This can include traditional historical research, a contextualised report on a public history project, an oral history project or other kinds of writing and research using historical research methods. (Forms other than writing, such as a podcast series or short film, are negotiable with the module leader and their size/length must equate to the stipulated length of a written output and include a critical commentary). The programme of study and development will be determined in consultation with a specialist supervisor and the student will be guided in the project through a series of one-to-one supervision meetings with that supervisor. The project can be on a topic of the student&#39;s choice within the discipline of History.
