be able to recognise the general perspectives on historical interpretations and ask questions of these interpretations, developing an increasingly independent interpretation.

be able to display historical knowledge of a chosen topic making connections between historic events and their context.

be able to communicate clearly and concisely with appropriate sources and accurate referencing, demonstrating appropriate digital literacy.

be able to present an argument, orally or in writing, demonstrating basic ownership of argument.

be able to evaluate primary material, including as a piece of research.

be able to plan and conduct a project including interpreting an appropriate amount of primary and secondary sources.
