On successful completion of this module students will

Demonstrate a systematic and critical knowledge of the classification of mental illness and common psychological disorders (including aetiology, diagnosis and symptoms).

Critically apply knowledge to a case study chosen and formulated by you.

Systematically describe and evaluate recent literature (i.e. published within the last two years) on a chosen psychological disorder in the discussion of your case study
