A portfolio that shows evidence of research and design that links theory and practice together. The visual portfolio can include completed artefacts, drawings, designs, photographs, diagrams, visual studies, animations, motion studies, interfaces, installations, digital projects or prototypes.

<p>This module focuses on the practice of theory. Its focus is the field of visual and material culture, and the expansion of the practices of Graphic Design &amp; Animation. That is, it focuses on the theorisation of cultural practices and cultural histories of the discipline of Graphic Design and Animation as time. The module also examines a myriad of forms manifesting as a convergence in and burgeoning of image and time-based practices. The module builds upon and expands the cultures and conditions of postmodernity and of the idea of the ‘contemporary’ introduced in year 1. It encourages you to experiment with ideas and concepts in the production of theory as practice and with practice as theory. It assumes no separation between theory and practice.</p>
