Assessment 1: Portfolio

You will be required to submit a portfolio of individual and/or group projects cumulatively comprising 5,000 words or equivalent.  Information will be given in the assignment brief.

<p>This module is designed to develop your skills in creative research and advance your understanding of how research may be applied within the fashion industries. The module will examine the research skills essential to successfully creating, writing and researching for the fashion industry. It will cover a diverse range of research approaches drawing inspiration from areas such as fashion, art, design, archaeology, history, media, and business. This will accompany traditional academic research skills. On completion of this module, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to carry out and communicate research relevant to a wide range of fashion disciplines.</p>
