You will be encouraged to develop and broaden your appreciation and understanding of design technology and associated aspects and to expand upon the principles and concepts examined in previous modules.
Your knowledge and expertise will be developed in the identification, consideration and analysis of structural, spatial and legislative contexts and in the inter-relationship between design thinking, material specification, construction methodologies and communication strategies related to the work of an Interior Designer and associated disciplines and professions.
Emphasis will be placed on the nature and role of design, orthographic drawing, the appraisal of structural, spatial and legislative contexts and techniques relevant to achieving and effecting well-conceived and specified design proposals.
