Assessment 1: Project work

There will be a minimum of two formative assessment points within the module. These will take the form of critiques, reviews and/or presentations as appropriate.
The major project module will be in two phases:
Testing phaseRealisation phase
After each formative assessment the student will have a clear indication of level of performance

Assessment 1: Project Work

Creative project work equivalent in scope to 16,500 words 
These may include:
visual/oral presentations
sketchbooks
plans/ working drawings
samples/prototypes
artefacts
The assessment outcomes relate specifically to the named award chosen by the student and would need to show clear relevance to the study of either:
Contemporary Art, Contemporary Art and Illustration and Illustration

<p>You will build upon and test research developed in THD1379 Research and Development. You will channel your creative and intellectual skills, either as an individual, or as part of a collaboration or interdisciplinary team, to create innovative, original or highly professional proposition(s) appropriate to your discipline through, for example; sketchbooks, worksheets, creative outputs. You will realise the potential of your major project in a form appropriate to your intentions. Your artefacts will act as a group of coherent summative statements.</p>
