Project Work

You will be encouraged to develop an awareness and understanding of fundamental concepts and principles related to design. This will include furniture, fixtures and materials specification, industry and contextual appreciation of the work of the Interior Designer in the design process, selection and implementation.
Through the module you will be encouraged to acquire and develop a vocabulary and understanding of fundamental concepts and principles associated with the design of the built environment and the work of an Interior Designer.
The work undertaken in the module will provide a general overview of selection and specification of materials, finishes, fixtures and furnishings and you will be encouraged to utilise such knowledge and understanding in associated design work in other modules.
