Assessment 1: Portfolio (including examples)

In addition to informal feedback and evaluation as part of the teaching process, formally structured tutorials will be scheduled to allow appropriate feedback and clear guidance for development. These will take the form of formative feedback before the final submission of assignments as part of the summative assessment.

Assessment 1: Portfolio

A Portfolio that demonstrates design and aesthetical application through the textiles workshop. The portfolio must also present the textile collection&#39;s theme, process and context.

<p>Students will be able to apply fundamental design application skills using the Textile workshops through the specialism areas of print, knit, weave or embroidery. The syllabus is designed to develop the ability to conceptualise and produce textiles samples for a specific end use, with an emphasis on aesthetic and technical excellence.</p>
