Outline Syllabus
This module will introduce you to the foundation principles of textile design from research, inspiration, idea generation, design, construction and development to presentation and visualisation.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students will

Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of design and aesthetic excellence.

Understand the suitability of design for the application of textile design.

Demonstrate the context through the textile design and material sensibility.

Apply fundamental design application skills using the textiles workshop.
