Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students will

demonstrate systematic understanding of the principles and techniques of crime scene examination and management.

critically evaluate evidence (outside their area of expertise) within context of the case and the crime scene.

carry out an examination of the crime scene.
4.
record, recover, package and transport evidence safely and securely.
5.
conduct a case assessment in situations involving evidence recovered from the crime scene.
6.
critically interpret and reconstruct a crime scene.
