<p>This module aims to provide students with comprehensive knowledge related to biofuels and bioenergy, together with fundamental knowledge of biochemistry, related to engineering biotechnology. This module will cover the three major types of biofuels: bioethanol and biodiesel, biogas. It will also introduce other types of biofuels, such as bio-hydrogen, or relevant processes, such as pyrolysis and gasification. The basic concepts of biochemistry will also be included in the module.</p>
