<p>This module introduces the student to the industrial manufacture of important chemicals and to core chemical engineering skills of formulating and solving material and energy balances on chemical systems. It introduces the principles of operation and analysis of operations in chemical processes.  It develops skills in manipulating laws of conservation of mass and energy, in order to understand individual operations and their interactions within chemical processes. It also introduces the use of computer software packages including chemical engineering simulation software.</p>





It is a condition of accreditation to notify the RSC of any changes to an accredited degree.
