Subcomponents of the Group project will include: 6% Group Presentation (5 minutes per student), 21% Group Report (700 words per student), 6% individual Peer Assessments (0.5 Notional assessment hours). You will conduct a group project case study. Each group will submit a group report, a group presentation and peer assessments.

Taught material will contribute an element every week to the SAIL programme (Score As I Learn) submitted via the VLE platform. 11 x 15 minutes weekly assignments (quizzes). Each assignment (quiz) will be worth 3%. Taking the best 8 out of 11 scores.

<p>In this module you will be introduced to concepts, standards, techniques, software and systems for production management, making reference to relevant ISO standards. You will cover case material relevant to manufacturing and gain experience of practical application. This On completion you will be in a strong position to apply these key industry standard practices to projects in your role as a graduate engineer. This will be supported by a broad-based approach to the understanding and analysis of electronic and computer-based production control and automation systems.</p>
