This module provides the opportunity for you to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform effectively in a leadership role within health and social care. You will be encouraged to think strategically and to develop a vision that will inspire and motivate others. You will explore theories around leadership and reflect upon your own leadership skills. You will also be supported to explore your own professional development.
This module will provide MSci and MSc Social Work students with the underpinning knowledge that is required to meet the Chief Social Workers’ Knowledge and Skills Statements and MSci Health and Social Care students with the underpinning knowledge required to meet the National Occupational Standards for Health and Social Care.
