<p>This module will provide the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and understanding of unscheduled care in special circumstances with vulnerable groups. Emphasis throughout the module will be placed on holistic assessment with development of subsequent management plans from which to provide optimum care. You will explore the boundaries of the paramedic role and recognising when to draw on and refer to other health and social care professionals. Throughout the module, critical appraisal of research will enable you to make recommendations to enhance patient care.</p>

Students will be required to pass all elements of the assessment to gain credit of the module as required by the HCPC Standards of Proficiency (2022).
