This module provides you with the opportunity to explore the public health role of the midwife, and how midwives can be involved in inter-professional partnerships working with women and their families across varying neighbourhoods. The national and international public health agenda will be scrutinised, as will the government initiatives in place relating to public health.
Learning Strategy
Lectures, student centred discussions, participatory exercises, and workshops. A Unilearn site will be available for this module and students will access this regularly for announcements, guidance, online activities blended learning and supplementary information.
