<p>This module provides a systematic approach to anatomy and physiology of acute and critical illness. It will assist you to gain an understanding of human development across the age spectrum (conception to death). You’ll explore altered pathology and its relation to acute and critical illness and diseases, as well as be introduced to pharmacological principles and their application to therapeutic regimes.</p>

Students will be required to pass all elements of the assessment to gain credit of the module as required by the HCPC standards of proficiency (2014).
