On successful completion of this module students will

Critically synthesise social science approaches to the study of race and ethnicity within the context of the UK.

Critically evaluate the role of race and ethnicity in the structure of British society.

Critically apply relevant concepts and theories drawn from the study of race and ethnicity to British society.

Critically analyse processes of racialisation and race making practices within British society.
