Synopsis
In this module you’ll be introduced to research and evidence-based practice in midwifery. You’ll learn about critical thinking, reasoning and reflection, which are essential skills for contemporary midwifery practice.

A student-centred approach will incorporate a variety of blended teaching and learning strategies to build on students’ prior knowledge and skills. On successful completion of this module students will

Identify and distinguish between the qualities of different approaches to research and research methods, including ethical considerations.
