Critically evaluate a range of approaches to learning and teaching in higher education which encourage and support students’ active and interactive learning.

Identify ways of developing students’ autonomous learning and ability to think critically.

Critically evaluate a range of theories and practices used in higher education settings and assess their potential impact on higher education learners.

Critically review the current trends and challenges impacting on teaching and learning practice in higher education organisations.
